NRDP is a not for profit organization working in rural and urban slums of Pakistan. The Institution has its mandate to provide financial and non-financial services to the poor and vulnerable segments of the society to improve their economic conditions. NRDP has planned to expand its geographical coverage to new areas of Pakistan. In this regard, we are looking for the qualified candidates to fill in the following positions on permanent basis at NRDP’s Liaison Office Islamabad.

Required Skills & Qualification:

Candidate should be Masters in Social Science with 3+ Years of experience in development sector, preferably as a proposal writer.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

Major responsibilities of Proposal Writer includes following:

  • Determines proposal concept by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs; studying requests for proposal (RFPs); attending strategy meetings.
  • Meets proposal deadline by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements with contributors; contributing proposal status information to review meetings; transmitting proposals.
  • Gathers proposal information by identifying sources of information; coordinating submissions and collections; identifying and communicating risks associated with proposals.
  • Develops proposal by assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation; writing, revising, and editing drafts including executive summaries, conclusions, and organization credentials.
  • Prepares presentation by evaluating text, graphics, and binding; coordinating printing.
  • Maintains quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone; maintaining proposal support databases.
  • Obtains approvals by reviewing proposal with key providers and project managers.
  • Improves proposal-writing results by evaluating and re-designing processes, approach, coordination, and boilerplate; implementing changes.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in learning opportunities; maintaining personal networks.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

 Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing statistical summaries and reports.
  • Assist Business Development Team with other forms of communication / solicitation.
  • Any other task assign by the Management.

 Graphic Designer

Number of Post:       1 (one)

Location:                    Islamabad

Job Description:

Prepares visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts.

Required Skills & Qualification:

Candidate should be Masters in relevant subject with 3+ Years of experience as a Graphic Designer.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

Major responsibilities of Graphic Designer includes following:

  • Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.
  • Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type.
  • Confer with management to discuss and determine layout design.
  • Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations and Internet websites.
  • Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.
  • Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with management and making necessary changes.
  • Use computer software to generate new images.
  • Key information into computer equipment to create layouts for client or supervisor.
  • Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products.
  • Mark up, paste, and assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for printer.
  • Prepare notes and instructions for staff who assemble and prepare final layouts for printing.
  • Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork, using computer.
  • Study illustrations and photographs to plan presentation of materials, products, or services.
  • Any other related work.
